Third partner meeting for the Digital@YouthWork project!

Between June – September of 2019, a survey was conducted, as part of the DIGITAL@YOUTHWORK Project, with participants from Germany, UK, Spain, Italy, and Cyprus. 430 young people, youth workers, and employers were asked which type of skills was the most essential for the labour market. Among the interesting findings of the surveys, is that 2 out 3 employers ranked digital skills at the top of their priorities for potential employees.

The Erasmus+ Youth project titled: DIGITAL@YOUTHWORK Project aims to upgrade Digital Youth Work and to equip Young People with advanced digital skills to meet the needs of the labour market.

The 3rd partner meeting which would have taken place in Reus, Spain – was organised (due to the COVID-19 lockdown) virtually on the 23rd of April 2020. During this meeting, the innovative capacity building courses such as Dev-Ops, Programming, Graphic and Media Design, Web Design, Social Media Marketing and 3D Design and 3D printing, which will upgrade the quality of youth work offered while enhancing the professional development of Youth Workers were finalised. The next steps towards the promotion of the project and the development of the dynamic platform were discussed.
