📢The ART&SIGNS project has just completed its second transnational meeting and we are so excited to share the news with you!
‼️THE KA2 Erasmus+ ART&SIGNS project aims to provide museum workers the necessary skills and competences to help them learn how to communicate and welcome Deaf visitors in their facilities. In addition, the project will ensure the discovery of specific Signs for the field of Art and Culture.
🎨During the last six months, the consortium distributed questionnaires to Museum Workers and Deaf individuals, to identify the needs of Deaf individuals, in terms of what is absent in a museum and ask Museum Workers if they believe it is vital to equip them with the adequate knowledge. The results of these two surveys verified the necessity to develop innovative methodologies that will accommodate both of these target groups.
💻The second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2) took place in a hybrid form and the partners discussed about the current and subsequent Project Results (PR) that must be completed, such as the ART&SIGNS Curriculum (PR1). Subsequently, the partners discussed about the progress of the platform (PR2), in addition to their dissemination activities and quality measurements.
🙏A massive thank you to the hosting organization PREDIF (Spain), to the coordinator INNOSIGN s.r.o (Slovakia) and to the other partner organizations; TUPEP (Italy), A.U.S.R.U (Italy), Pragma Engineering (Italy), Dennis Hoogeveen Consultancy (Netherlands) and ANPEDA (Romania) for this collateral cooperation.
