💭‘Artificial intelligence has the potential to democratize access to education, healthcare and economic opportunities. Let’s strive to make AI technology accessible and beneficial for all.’ 💭Rana el Kaliouby, CEO of Affectiva.
🗓️ Between the 14th-18th of May 2024, Emphasys Centre participated in the C1 Training Mobility and the third transnational meeting of the Erasmus KA2 school project: AI4STEM – Introducing the 5 Big Ideas in Artificial Intelligence using the Internet of Things in STEM education, in Athens, Greece.
🤖The AI4STEM project will utilize the Five Big Ideas in AI concept and a series of IoT projects to develop an educational framework on which students (8–16 years old) will be introduced to artificial intelligence through hands-on lessons, blending Internet of Things principles, programming, and STEM learning outcomes.
💯During the training and TPM, the consortium tested out the educational framework, the AI4STEM Kit including its Components, User manual and IoT Projects. Following this was the AI4STEM Academy, an introduction to BBC Micro:bit followed by a series of workshops.
