In a world where violence forces thousands of families to flee for their lives each day, NOW is the time to show that everyone stands with refugees.
As part of this stand, Emphasys Centre is supporting the ‘World Refugee Day 2019 – 20th June 2019’ through its EU Erasmus+ KA2 project: ‘ DC4JOBS – Digital Competences for new jobs: Young People with fewer opportunities fight unemployment’. The purpose of this project is to help young people to up-grade, up-skill or re-skill their digital competences in order to meet the needs of the labour market and bridge the gap related to skills mismatches between education and training and the world of work.
It is our honour to be able to offer our support and expertise to a group of young people from the Cyprus Refugee Council and the Help Refugees Work. Through their participation in the DC4JOBS Upskilling Pathway programme we are aiming to empower them with new digital and employability skills. We are all very pleased to be able contribute to the ‘World Refugee Day 2019’ through the digital inclusion for all campaign!
