The transition from school into professional life is one of the most challenging moments in life. Today’s job market requires young people, not only to possess good qualifications, but also be able to adapt their skills in the work place in an entrepreneurial way.
Emphasys Centre participated in the 2nd transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 VET project titled: “Promoting Key Competences (Entrepreneurship) through an integrated career orientation programme and flexible learning pathways for VET students – Entre@VetSchools”.
The project highlights the European Commission’s aims to develop entrepreneurial skills that will not only contribute to new business creation, but also to the employability of young people thus meeting the needs of the labour market.
The meeting was organised between the 17th – 18th of October 2019, in Lancaster UK, where the teaching materials and activities of the project were discussed and analysed.
A big thank you to the hosting organisation Lancaster & Morecambe College (UK), the coordinator of the project Leibniz Universität Hannover (DE) and all partners 2ο ΕΚ Πειραιά (GR), Fundatia CDIMM Maramures (RO) and Háskólinn í Reykjavík (IS) for their excellent collaboration.
