“The digital age is expanding into all areas of our lives, and it is not just those who work in IT that will need to be alert of the digital transformation. The digital skills gap is real. While already 90% of future jobs require some level of digital literacy, 44% of Europeans lack basic digital skills.” Mariya Gabriel, EU Commissioner for The Digital Economy and Society.
The above is the ultimate goal of the Erasmus+ Adult project entitled: ‘GOdiGITAL-DIGITAL TOOLS FOR WORK’ that started last week with a kick-off meeting being organised between the 12th and 13th of November in Zaragosa, Spain. Having in mind the needs of a rather unique group of young adults, NEET people (Not in Employment nor in Education or Training) the consortium has set off into another challenging journey aiming to support the target group, equipping them with essential digital and employability skills to enter the world of work.
A great consortium will implement the above project: FEUZ (Coordinator) and European Digital Learning Network ,
Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry / РТИК , European Association of Geographers, Civic, IDEC S.A. (partners). Thank you all for your cooperation.
