KOM of the MeLi Project!

By December 18, 2019No Comments

We live in a digital era and online media is been constantly consumed by children on a daily basis.

According to a research by PwC (Kids Digital Media Report, 2019), 2/3 of the global internet users are children while 2 children go online for the first time every second. Children take a huge amount of information from a wide array of sources leading to the responsibility of parents to support their children’s media literacy.

Media literacy for parents (MeLi) is an Erasmus+ KA2 Adult Education project which aims to develop essential skills and competences for parents to be able to stand out as role models to their children by proactively teaching them how to use media in a responsible manner and develop a critical attitude towards media.

Emphasys Center is pleased to be part of this powerful team of organisations and professionals who are eager to support parents. The kick-off meeting of the MeLi project, was organized by MAPA foundation in Krakow on the 27th and 28th of November.
