Emphasys Centre organised successfully on the 19th of July, the Multiplier Event of the Erasmus+ KA2 BOOST4Youth “online Business and e-cOmmerce cOaching for increasing entrepreneurShip among youTh” project.
The event was organised at Κτήμα Γερόλεμο – Gerolemo Winery in Omodos (Limassol, Cyprus) thus promoting the aim of the project to support youth become digital entrepreneurs in the agro tourism sector by setting up online businesses and targeting the overseas consumers through digital strategies aiming to increase cross-border sales.
During the event, the project’s results were presented such as the Digital Entrepreneur Training Course (DEC) (the action-based course) with a focus on the promotion of e-Commerce for ‘Agri-products’ and the Genie Platform ( https://boost4youth.eu/genie ) to support youth become digital entrepreneurs with personalised learning pathways and validation of competences. Various workshops were organised, as well as a discussion on the benefits, strategy and prospects of e-Commerce.
We would like to thank all the participants, the Ktima Gerolemo for the hospitality and in particular Charis and Athinodoros Athinodorou (owners) for sharing with us the history of the winery and their thoughts about providing on-line services for their products.
