🔍 42% of European citizens do not have basic digital skills. 37% of people in the labour force – farmers, bank employees, and factory workers alike – also lack sufficient digital skills (💻), despite the increasing need for such skills in all jobs (European Commission, 2020)
👉 The GOdIGITAL project aims:
🔹 To improve the employability of NEET people (Not in Education, Employment or Training) from 18 to 30 years old and their career orientation.
🔹 To tackle the main digital skills gaps in order to be visible in the labour market
🔹 To promote innovative pedagogies and methods for teaching, learning and assessing to increase the uptake of subjects where skills shortages exist
🔹 To foster NEET people self-awareness in terms of digital skills to be competitive in the labour market
🔹 To reinforce the digital professionalization of the workforce, career counsellors and trainers.
