By October 30, 2020No Comments
👉 A common struggle of parents and teachers is to achieve a balanced use of the internet and the screen in general for their children or students Getting them off-screen is a real challenge
The consortium of the Erasmus+ KA2 project titled ‘ON-OFF4youngsters: Embracing a balanced approach between Online engagement and OFFline alternatives’ has developed the ON-OFF TOOLKIT including the Augmented Reality Game. The aim of the KIT is to empower children, teachers and parents in raising awareness of the causes and risks of excessive online engagement while advocating the great benefits of technology but also promoting the vitality of the offline activities and interactions.
✔️ Throughout the testing phase, a series of Dry Runs were conducted in Cyprus in 3 different schools. During the Dry Runs a brief presentation of the project and its aims were presented to the participants, following the presentation of the projects’ results including the TOOLKIT, the ON-OFF Academy and last but not least, the AR game which was the most engaging activity, especially for our younger participants.
