‘Those with dementia are still people and they still have stories and they still have character and they are all individuals and they are all unique. They just need to be interacted with on a human level’ – Carey Mulligan
Emphasys Centre is proud to be part of the new Erasmus KA2 Adult Education Project, Move your Hands for Dementia (MYH4D), which aims to:
👉Improve adult educators’ skills and knowledge about dementia
👉Increase health literacy about dementia of the whole adult population
👉Improve friendly and inclusive community to persons living with dementia.
🖥️ To reach tothose aims, partners aim to develop a Massive Open Course (MOOC) for adult educators to improve their knowledge and develop their practices in delivering non-formal education courses about dementia and also a Community of Practice (CoP) to be used by adult educators, caregivers and persons with dementia to share needs, knowledge and experiences.
📢 The Kick-off-meeting took place virtually on 19-20 of November, 2020. During the meetings, the partners discussed the main objectives of the project, the initial steps towards its implementation as well as the activities related to the management and communication of the partners.
