💯 Emphasys Centre is proud to be part of the KA2 Erasmus+ EU Digital Framework for Sign Languages project along with five distinguished organisations from different European countries.
👉 The aim of the project is to develop a database providing at least 500 lemmas in international sign language related to the lexical domain of digital and ICT. As a result, hearing-impaired individuals will have the opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge in an era where digital competences have become an essential requirement in today’s job market. The material will be delivered online through an e-learning platform which will be divided into fives different subdomains around the fields of: Computer Science, Cloud Networking, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Audio-visual and media production.
❗ Due to the current travelling restrictions, the kick-off meeting of the EU Digital Framework for Sign Languages project took place virtually on the 4th of December 2020. During the meeting, the main objectives of the project were analysed and the next steps were agreed.
