4th Transnational Meeting for the MeLDE Project!

By December 11, 2020No Comments
❗ In the era of the global pandemic (the coronavirus), we are exposed to large amount of misinformation. Educational activities have been shifted online and teachers require to find new ways to reach their students. More than ever before, we have a critical need to develop our media literacy skills.
Emphasys participated in the 4th meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 School project: ‘MeLDE: Media Literacy in the Digitalised Era: Supporting teachers through a whole-school approach’, which took place virtually on the 8th December 2020.
👉 The meeting provided a good opportunity for the consortium to discuss the feedback received from the C1 training event and to share ideas about the finalization of the MeLDE Toolkit, which later will be used in schools to run a course in media literacy for digital citizenship. The implementation of the pilot testing in all the partner countries is expected to start in spring.
💯 We would like to say a big thank you to the coordinator of the project University of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom) as well as the rest of the partners ANT1 (Cyprus), NCSR Demokritos (Greece) and Bürgerhaus Bennohaus (Germany) for their excellent collaboration.
