📢European rural environments suffer from low economic diversification, high rates of unemployment and depopulation. According to statistics, women in rural areas are in a vulnerable position as they exhibit higher unemployment rates (14,4%) than men.
📣👉We are proud to announce our participation in the new KA2 Erasmus+ Bridging the Gap project which aims to enhance the digital and entrepreneurship skills of women living in rural areas so they can become economically self-efficient. The consortium will develop an innovative Bridging the Gap platform that will contain a MOOC course designed specifically to enrich the ICT and entrepreneurship skills of women in rural areas. The platform will also contain a manual for navigation purposes and a section where trainers and learners can communicate and collaborate.
💻Due to the travelling restrictions, the kick-off meeting of the project took place virtually on the 10th December 2020. During the meeting, partners discussed the overall objectives of the project and how they will proceed with dissemination, quality and evaluation and the activities of the first task.
🙏💯A huge thank you to the coordinator of the project AFFAMER (Spain), for the organization and to the rest of the partners, INTERMEDIAKT (Greece), DRAMBLYS (Spain), INSTITUTUL NATIONAL DE CERCETARE STIINTIFICA IN DOMENIUL MUNCII SI PROTECTIEI SOCIALE (Romania), WIDE (Luxembourg), and Ce.F.A.S.
