💬 “The world is changing very fast. Big will not beat small anymore. It will be the fast beating the slow.” – Rupert Murdoch
🌍 As the world is full of changes, people need to become active citizens of their communities and branch out into the wider context, no matter the geographic limitations they may have. This is what the new Erasmus+ KA2 Training Material for GCE in rural areas (Rural GCE) project aims to do so by raising awareness of adult educators and of people in rural areas for current issues and topics such as cultural diversity, sustainability, equality, poverty etc. through innovative digital ways.
👉 Emphasys Centre participated in the online kick-off meeting on the 17th of February. We have met new and old partners and are more than keen to start working on this project. During the first meeting, partners presented their organizations, overviewed the project’s aims and objectives, analyzed in detail their responsibilities and shared their expertise and views on the next steps during the following months. Deadlines were decided in order for the project to start as soon as possible!
👏 We would like to thank our coordinator CIVIC (the UK) as well as the rest of the partners PANEPISTIMIO THESSALIAS (Greece), RCCI (Bulgaria), FyG (Spain) and ATERMON (the Netherlands) for this productive and very promising meeting.
👉 Stay tuned for more updates!
