๐ข Emphasys Centre is proud to be taking part in the new Erasmus + SchoolsGoGreen project which is in alignment with the 2019 EU GREEN DEAL of the EU and encourages member states to uptake the challenge for a green transformation and transition towards a greener and healthier planet. The main objective of the SchoolsGoGreen project is to promote an environmentally-friendly mindset from a very young age by helping and supporting primary teachers and children develop their knowledge and competences on environmental issues. The project will achieve its objectives by producing the following results: 1) a Go Green Interactive Portal which will include a mapping tool, a toolkit for primary teachers, learning material and an Eco-Glossary for children, 2) an innovative Mobile App Barometre for measuring schoolsโ eco-performance.
๐ปDue to travel restrictions, the kick-off meeting of the project took place online on the 25th of February. During the meeting, the consortium presented their organizations, overviewed the project’s aims and objectives, analysed the intellectual outputs in detail and discussed the next steps of the implementation.
