πŸ’Ά This week (22-26 of March 2021) is about the initiative of European Money Week to celebrate financial education and raise awareness about money and personal finances! This is an annual initiative organized by the European Banking Foundation (EBF) and it involves events and activities during the whole week with participants from 35 European countries. Its aim is to promote financial literacy through financial education among young people.
πŸ™Œ Emphasys Centre supports this initiative by being one of the eight partners of the Erasmus+ KA2 project FINMAN (Personal Finance Management Program). The project recognizes the fact that financial literacy is not improving in the EU at the same rate that financial instruments are becoming available for the general public. What it aims to do is to reach out to adults of any age group, and to help them improve their financial skills through a series of courses available on an online training platform and an interactive virtual game through simulation.
