

🤳 MeLi for Parents aims to develop a training programme and a web platform to enable parents to improve their knowledge on media literacy and be able to stand out as role models to their children by proactively teaching them how to use media in a responsible manner.

Additionally, the consortium presented the MELI Application (http://meli4parents.eu/activities ) as well as its functionalities.
✅On the first day of the C1 training, the coordinator of the project Fundacja Mapa Pasji (Poland) presented a brief overview of the project’s purpose and aims. HeartHands Solutions (Cyprus) presented the MeLI application as well as the registration procedure and the main functionalities of the application (http://meli4parents.eu/activities ). Additionally, the Basic Level of MeLI Training Curriculum was presented and more specifically, Learning Unit 1 – Family and Media Management was presented by Fundacja Mapa Pasji (Poland), Learning Unit 2 – Building communication and trust between family members by EPA – European Parents’ Association (Austria), Learning Unit 3 – Children behaviour/popular applications by Fundacja Mapa Pasji (Poland), Learning Unit 4 – Cybersecurity by Emphasys Centre (Cyprus), Learning Unit 5 – Internet Addiction by Fundacja Mapa Pasji (Poland), Learning Unit 6 – Parental control tools by IDEC S.A. (Greece) and Learning Unit 7 – Cyberbullying and hate speech online by European Digital Learning Network (Italy).
✅On the second day of the C1 training, the Intermediate Level of MeLI Training Curriculum was presented and more specifically, Learning Unit 1 – Family and Media Management was presented by Fundacja Mapa Pasji (Poland), Learning Unit 2 – Building communication and trust between family members by EPA – European Parents’ Association (Austria), Learning Unit 3 – Online Privacy and Learning Unit 4 – Cybersecurity by Emphasys Centre (Cyprus), Learning Unit 5 – Disinformation by E-business Academy (Bulgaria), Learning Unit 6 – Parentral control tools by IDEC S.A. (Greece) and Learning Unit 7 – Cyberbullying and hate speech online by European Digital Learning Network (Italy).
✅ On the third day of the C1 training, the Advanced Level of MeLI Training Curriculum was presented and more specifically, Learning Unit 1 – Family and Media Management was presented by Fundacja Mapa Pasji (Poland), Learning Unit 2 – Building communication and trust between family members by EPA – European Parents’ Association (Austria), Learning Unit 3 – Privacy and Digital Footprint and Learning Unit 4 – Cybersecurity by Emphasys Centre (Cyprus), Learning Unit 5 – Economic, social and cultural aspects of media by E-business Academy (Bulgaria), Learning Unit 6 – Role models and stereotypes & Learning Unit 7 – Parental control tools by IDEC S.A. (Greece) and Learning Unit 8 – Digital Content Creation by European Digital Learning Network (Italy). At the end of the training, participants had an open discussion for evaluation and feedback for the whole C1 training activity and the next steps of the project were discussed.
