“If someone would have talked about safe touch and unsafe touch, I believe I would have spoken up as a child and not been victimized over and over again for years’ – Erin Merryn
🙋♂️🙋♀️The short-term staff training of the European Erasmus+ YOUTH project ‘STOP- Stop Child Abuse Through Effective Training and Augmented Reality’ was held virtually between the 18th – 22nd October 2021, where participants from around Europe had the opportunity to get informed about the project, and learn more about the materials and resources developed.
Specifically, the following modules were presented:
👉Introduction to Sexual Abuse
👉The Grooming Process – Signs, Prevention and Intervention
👉Sexting – Risks and Dangers
Additionally, participants had the chance to evaluate the STOP AR game, and to provide feedback. The next step involves the finalization of the STOP AR Game, and the implementation of the programme into schools, youth clubs, etc.
