By November 2, 2021No Comments
🙌 Emphasys Centre has successfully organised the training programme of the European Erasmus+ project “Robotics4Deaf: Robotics through sign language: ensuring access and engagement of students with disabilities (deaf or with hearing impairment) to the digital world of coding and robotics” between the 19th-29th of October at the School of Deaf (Nicosia, Cyprus)!
💡 The students and the training staff of the School for the Deaf had the opportunity to discover the fascinating world of robotics and explore the project results consisting of activities that promote coding and robotics integrating into STEM fields.
🤖The #ROBOTICS4DEAF project aims to introduce ‘coding and robotics’ to primary and secondary school students with deafness or hearing impairments (aged 10-21) by ensuring access and participation of hearing impaired in learning and creating synergies between schools and various stakeholders such as ICT professionals, educational centres, providers, NGOs, enterprises etc.
