“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”-Benjamin Franklin.
👴🧓 Senior citizens represent an important and ever-growing part of the European population. This poses manifold questions as to how member states can best ensure social inclusion, active citizenship, and their participation in life, economy, and society.
👉 To address this issue, the KA2 European Project ‘United Generations’ aims to bring together seniors and youth, promote intergenerational learning and implement an innovative learning program targeting the acquisition of digital and literacy skills of senior citizens (60+).
The Kick-Off meeting of the project took place virtually on the 4th January 2022, where partners had the opportunity to discuss the overall activities of the project and plan the next steps.
💯 We would like to thank the coordinator of the project Mensch Raum Land e.V. (Germany), as well as the rest of our partners CGE Culture Goes Europe – Soziokulturelle Initiative Erfurt e.V. (Germany), Project NET (Latvia), Maison de l’Europe Des Yvelines (France), TE IS Foundation (Hungary), and OU Podum (Croatia) for the great cooperation.
