The final meeting European Erasmus+ YOUTH project โ€˜ STOP child abuse ThrOugh effective training and augmented realityโ€™ was organized virtually on the 17th January 2022.
โ—The phenomenon of child sexual abuse appears to become a matter of growing concern in Europe according to recent research by the EU Commission. Children are vulnerable, and often ashamed and afraid to report those incidents, hence most of them go undetected. Emphasys Centre is proud to be part of this powerful team of organizations and professionals who contributed to the fight against child sexual abuse.
๐Ÿ‘‰As part of the project, an innovative learning programme was created targeting youth workers to improve their practices, along with the STOP Augmented Reality Game which consists a powerful prevention tool for the youth workers.
๐Ÿ™We would like to thank the coordinator of the project Udruga roditelja Korak po korak (Croatia), as well as the rest of the partners Universidad de Valladolid (Spain), Asociacion Deses-3 (Spain) European Digital Learning Network (Italy), KMOP (Greece), CCS Digital Education – EU Funded Projects (Ireland) for the excellent collaboration.
