๐จ๏ธ โThe European Green Deal is our new growth strategy. It will help us cut emissions while creating jobs.โ ๐จ๏ธ Ursula von derLeyen, President of the EC.
โป๏ธ It is an integral part of the UNโs 2030 Agenda and the 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs). It urges for the โProactive re-skilling and upskillingโ of citizens which is necessary โto reap the benefits of the ecological transitionโ. The GREENWAVE project is in inline with the above, as well as addressing the dramatic consequences of Covid-19 in relation to youth unemployment and potential job creation. โป๏ธ
