💯 Emphasys Centre proudly participated in the final meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 School project: PhysicsKIT4STEM: Promoting gender-balanced STEM education through DIY kits for teaching physics in the classroom.
👩💻 The aim of the project is to improve the quality of teaching in STEM education through a hands-on approach involving the use of DIY kits, electronics, programming and a Raspberry Pi computer to teach physics. In addition, the project advocates gender-balanced STEM classrooms and aims to pique the interest of students, and more specifically young girls, to science and engineering subjects.
👉 During the final meeting, all pending tasks were discussed and finalised and the preparation for the pilot testing phase will begin shortly after the summer holidays!
🙏A big thank you to the coordinator of this project ECAM-EPMI (France) as well as the rest of the partners for their cooperation PISTES SOLIDAIRES (France), ASSERTED KNOWLEDGE OMORRYTHMOS ETAIREIA (Greece), ATERMON B.V. (Netherlands) and of course our host PROJETO SCHOLE LDA (Portugal).
