The school sector TOGETHER project is coming to an end!
The TOGETHER project aims to foster the digital creativity of young generations by leveraging the “service learning” methodology and applying it to secondary schools, with the aim of engaging students in community-valuable activities of digital transformation for cultural heritage resources, protecting and enhancing it’s value with the community’s cultural assets.Throughout the two years of implementing the project, partners have developed a handbook that includes courses for secondary school teachers on how to apply the service-learning methodology in their classes with the aim of promoting cultural heritage. In addition, they have developed an online platform, the TOGETHER Digital Creativity Academy, which includes all the courses for FREE as well as tools and lesson plans in order to inspire and help teachers.
The last meeting was organized in Brussels on the 21st of April, during which partners had the opportunity to discuss what they had already done (mainly the pilot testing sessions and Multiplier Events) and what needed to be done up until the end of the project. Lastly, partners shared their appreciation for these two years and are looking forward to new possibilities of collaboration.
