EU Green Week is an annual event that brings together individuals, organizations, and policymakers from across Europe to discuss and act upon environmental challenges. ππ
This year’s topics are focused on the skills for sustainable, resilient, and socially fair communities, and different schools, universities, and environmental organisations organise events and activities in order to celebrate the EU Green Week and be in line with these topics.
π Today, we’re highlighting the Erasmus+ KA2 Project Paradigm: “PlAn For Green OppoRtunities Be A Digital scIentific chanGeMaker,” which falls under the School Sector and involves active participation from Emphasys Centre.
π The PARADIGM project aims to promote environmental awareness and active engagement through the development of innovative STEM-based curricula.
π The consortium has created an e-learning course that teaching staff can access freely to learn about environmental issues. Alongside the e-learning course, there are 15 different learning scenarios covering various environmental topics like air pollution and water pollution. A DIY kit helps students actively engage with their teachers by enabling them to measure different environmental parameters such as CO2 concentration, temperature, humidity, etc.
