❗Although significant progress has been made in educational institutions toward digital transformation, unfortunately, the attempts for Inclusiveness and Innovative teaching practices have revealed many issues related to the accessibility and inclusiveness of students on the autism spectrum.
In this context, the European Erasmus+ KA2 project Autism-Includi aims to:
enhance the teaching and training techniques currently used in special needs education systems, by using specifically developed information and communication tools
provide adequate supplies in higher education to create accessible and inclusive Digital Learning curricula concerning autistic students.The third meeting of the project took place in Aveiro, Portugal on 12-13 July 2023. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for the partners to discuss the development of the three courses targeting HE students, professionals and caregivers of students on the autism spectrum, along with the e-learning platform which will host the materials to be developed.
We would like to thank our host PNA no Agrupamento de Escolas José Estêvão (Portugal), the coordinator of the project University of Macedonia (Greece) along with the rest of the partners Atlantis Engineering SA (Greece), Rēzeknes Tehnoloģiju akadēmija (Latvia), Autism-Europe (Belgium) for the fruitful meeting.
