📅 Between the 24th – 26th of April 2024, Emphasys Centre participated in the COVE project: INVESTech – Innovation Vocational Excellence in Tech, in Košice, Slovakia.
🚀 INVESTech is creating a transnational platform for Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in ICT across Slovakia, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Lithuania. 🌍👩💻 This project fosters VET innovation through collaboration, skills development with tech, promoting green transition, and social inclusion. 🌱💡 It’s a bottom-up approach involving regional stakeholders and aligning efforts with EU standards.
💼 During the meeting, we delved into all eight work packages, presented by the leaders including:
- Creation of Centres of Vocational Excellence
- Development of a sustainable collaboration platform
- Enhancing labor market-relevant skills in advanced technologies
- Greening VET for a sustainable future
- Quality Assurance and Evaluation
- Project management and coordination
- Promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in VET
- Dissemination, exploitation, and sustainability
👉 During the meeting, our partnership had the opportunity to conduct a study visit arranged by IT Valley. The opportunity arose for a showcase of innovative ideas and exemplary initiatives in Košice, providing the partnership with valuable insights and inspiration.
