Partners from across Europe gathered for the AutismFIT Transnational Training Mobility from 🗓️29 Sept – 2 Oct 2025, hosted at Emphasys Centre in Nicosia, Cyprus.☀️
ℹ️ The AUTISMFIT project promotes a healthier lifestyle for youth (13-18) with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through better nutrition, physical activity, and mental wellbeing. It involves parents and youth workers to encourage healthier habits in the lives of youth with ASD. Digital innovation, including VR games and digital platforms, plays a crucial role in achieving these goals.
👩💻During the training, partners:
- Explored how to facilitate building personal, social, and learning skills of young people with ASD
- Tested and improved the project’s VR-based games
- Experimented with Makey Makey to promote sensory engagement
- Strengthened their collaboration for the common goal of inclusive education
