On the 14th and 16th of October 2025, partners of the INVESTECH Project came together online for the 1st COFUN Lab, organised and facilitated by IDEC under Task 3.7: Promoting European collaboration and making full use of European financial instruments.
💬 Day 1 – Setting the Foundation
On 14 October, our facilitator introduced the COFUN Labs concept, objectives, and methodology. Partners explored the rationale behind the labs, discussed key steps, and defined roles and responsibilities. The session continued with collaborative brainstorming in breakout rooms, leading to the first draft of concept notes and an action plan presented by IDEC.
🌍 Day 2 – Exploring European Funding Opportunities
On 16 October, was a full-day online session focusing on various European funding instruments.
Participants explored several opportunities through interactive presentations:
- Erasmus+ KA1 Mobilities – CSKC
- Erasmus+ KA2 Decentralised Actions – Emphasys Centre
- Erasmus+ Centralised Actions – IDEC
- Horizon Europe (Sessions 1 & 2) – Demokritos
The sessions provided valuable insights into EU programmes and funding mechanisms, helping partners identify synergies and collaboration opportunities within the INVESTECH framework.
🤝 Looking Ahead
The 1st COFUN Lab successfully set the groundwork for future collaboration, with partners preparing for the upcoming in-person sessions in Piraeus.
