On the 22nd of November 2025, we spent an inspiring day in Omodos, specifically at Ktima Gerolemo Winery as part of the NEW INHERIT project, celebrating creativity, heritage, and community collaboration! 🇪🇺🌿
The event opened with a warm welcome from Community Leader Mr. Evgenios Michael, followed by a presentation from Emphasys Centre and an introduction to the NEW INHERIT project.
Two of our Cultural Ambassadors then shared testimonials about their experiences, including insights from the study visits in Germany, Spain, and Brussels.
We also had the opportunity to hear about sustainable fashion by our guest speaker Irene Panayi, owner of Arcadia CY, who shared her journey in sustainable entrepreneurship, and from Eleni Athinodorou of Ktima Gerolemo Winery, highlighting the vital role of local heritage and community engagement.
The winery hosted a lovely brunch, setting the atmosphere for the next part of the day — three interactive workshops led by our Cultural Ambassadors. Participants explored creativity, sustainability, and cultural activation through hands-on activities that brought the project’s mission to life.
