The NextGen Parenting project addresses three interconnected challenges in today’s society:
🟣Low participation in adult learning
🟣Rising on- and offline gender-based violence
🟣Limited digital and media literacy among parents
Partners of the NextGen Parenting project met in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, on 13–14 May 2026 for two dynamic days of discussions, experience-sharing, and collaboration as part of the Study Visit and second Transnational Meeting. 🤝
The programme included visits to:
📍Development Center of Novo Mesto
📍Counselling Centre for Children, Adolescents and Parents Novo Mesto
These visits provided valuable insights into the work of two local organisations supporting children, adolescents, and families, while highlighting community-based approaches and innovative practices in the field. 💡
The transnational meeting that followed offered partners the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss the future direction of the project. 🚀
