From 9–11 June 2026, Emphasys Centre proudly welcomed partners from across Europe to Nicosia for a three-day Transnational Training Mobility focused on dementia awareness, digital innovation, and intergenerational learning for the Hands Together project.
The mobility brought together representatives from Sweden, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Cyprus, and Greece to exchange knowledge, test innovative educational resources, and strengthen collaboration within the project consortium.
During the event, participants explored:
✅ The project’s Mobile App & Screening Tool
✅ Podcast modules covering key aspects of dementia, including early signs, communication strategies, quality of life, and the role of technology
✅ An immersive VR Game experience designed to support learning and awareness
✅ A Learning Pack for Seniors
✅ Interactive webinar modules on intergenerational learning, digital tools, inclusive educational activities, and community-based approaches
✅ Expert insights from a study visit at the Multifunctional Centre of Agios Dometios and inspiring participant testimonials
The mobility provided a valuable opportunity for partners to share expertise, engage in practical activities, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that support people experiencing early signs of dementia while promoting meaningful intergenerational connections.
