Course Description
Teachers nowadays encounter the challenge of staying up to date with the ever-fast changes in technology. The new digital form the world is taking with websites, social networks, learning platforms, the abundance of resources, including the ongoing pandemic, has forced teachers and students to adapt alike.
This course twofold aim are:
First, to hands-on prepare educators on the challenges of creating and managing a webpage for a school or classroom using the WordPress platform and various useful plugins.
And second, to hands-on prepare educators on the challenges of creating and managing a Learning Management Platform (LMS) with the most popular and widely used example of LMS, Moodle. Educators will learn how to create an LMS with online classroom management features, course resources, assignment and homework submission, online tests and exercises and a rewarding gamification system such as Open Badges.

- The organisation/school will gain expert trainers/educators who will be able to create and maintain the organisation’s or school’s website
- The organisation/school will gain expert trainers/educators who will be able to create and maintain a Learning Management System for all the learners and educators to use.
- The organisation/school will add an additional tool for Online and remote learning.
