COVID-19 has disrupted the education process, especially in VET sector, in which digital readiness is not uniform. In a generation of trainers and workers that need to be more tech-savvy, VET centers need to improve the quality of provided training and to adapt more quickly to technological changes. However, even if everyone focuses on online tools and examination methods, no framework to assess digital readiness at VET level exists. Therefore, the Erasmus+ project Q4EDU will offer a methodology for a quality plan to VET centers and trainers to evaluate and address their digital readiness and to adopt a quality-centric point of view of their services.
